Not to look like I'm just going against the flow but if you know anything about the Kpop process this is fairly standard as idols will debut in debt and then the company will look to promote them until the debt is paid off and only then will you start making money. Gfriend took until Fingertip to pay off their debt and that included 2 massive hits and 2 smaller ones to accomplish so I'm not surprised that Everglow hasn't but it also feels like they weren't really given the chance since their activity has been spotty at best during a time when Kpop was growing in popularity so they have yet to earn enough to pay off the cost of training them.

Their momentum was halted in their tracks 2 times once when in 2020 their small US multi city concert tour had to end due to u-know-wat in Mar/Feb 2020 n the 2nd time was when Yiren didn't bow in idk wat yr.

Both times it was unfortunate n I don't quite blame the members or YH, but it is wat it is(if anything YH she hv learned from Tzuyu/Tiffany n other foreign members in other gaps but the most I find fault is not being omniscient/all knowing or unaware of previous issues with foreign members in kpop, but it's unpredictable as Jessi being lambasted shows). I just hope for the best for EG n the members n at least it's more understandable to me why EU n Sihyeon started a duo yt channel. Hope the members do well going forward.(as long as Yena is still in yuehua I can't call for YH's demise just yet/could yena joining EG hv saved/promoted EG? maybe but I can't see yena hvg no solo career as being worth svg EG/risk of OT7 which might not hv saved EG, n then it's both YN AND EG tanking.) Good luck yiren n others in EG.

Edit: PS those gg debut ard same time eg stayc, weeekly, wooah n others seem precarious if not already disbanded. Idk who else debuted in 2019 who r doing well rn/since, seems 2018 then 2020 forwards was more fortuitous overall maybe.
