Your favorite Marvel movies (4 Viewers)

[Magician]

After like 100 years I decided to watch some Marvel movies, to see the what the hype is about
Pls recommend me your favorite movies

and are there Marvel movies with female protagonists?

[OnlyCalB]

I've watched all the MCU and X-men series.

From the MCU, my personal faves are; Captain America Winter Soldier, Thor Ragnarok, Doctor Strange

The X-men series is worth watching although my absolute fave is Deadpool 1-2 (if you include that within the main series).

As for female protagonists, Captain Marvel and the new Black Widow (both MCU) have female leads. The prequal films in the X-men series have the prominent Mystique (although she's kinda within an ensemble) and Jean Grey/Phoenix in the film Dark Phoenix.

The MCU and X-men series both have prominent female characters/heroes though throughout the whole series.

Thank you, Cal!!
Do I have to watch the movies in a specific order to understand them?

This is the chronological order of the MCU and naturally best way to follow the full story:

Captain America: The First Avenger
Captain Marvel
Iron Man
Iron Man 2
The Incredible Hulk
Thor
Marvel's The Avengers
Thor The Dark World
Iron Man 3
Captain America: The Winter Soldier
Guardians of the Galaxy
Guardians of the Galazy Vol 2
Avengers: Age of Ultron
Ant-Man
Captain America: Civil War
Black Widow
Spider-Man: Homecoming
Black Panther
Doctor Strange
Thor: Ragnarok
Ant-Man & The Wasp
Avengers: Infinity War
Avengers: Endgame
Spider-Man: Far From Home

All 24 films are part of the "Infinity Saga".

The MCU is now moving on to a new chapter with new and old characters for the next part of the MCU. They have a bunch of really good looking films coming up.

Enjoy the MCU! Some films are kinda lacking/slow but it's all worth watching. I enjoyed most of them though with a decent number being VERY good.

Spiderman 3

not to understand, but there are cool nuggets you will get easier if you watch in order.

Captain marvel is really iffy for many.

oh and watch every movie thru the credits. They put clips in the credits.

[RandAlThor]

Spiderman 3

the non mcu spiderman movies are not cannon.

the fun thing about this order is it is not the order the movies were released in ).

First avenger is a perfect starting point even if it was not first in this list.

Believe it or not, I've never watched a Marvel film until Spider-man: No Way Home and Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.
