Tbh I feel like it's disturbing that so many people thought this was okay... regardless, they all should be punished

It's sad that the Twitter user thinks that about so many Korean men. It's super generalized on their part - it's like saying all white people are racist, all Asians are smart, all Lesbian women have short hair cuts, all Canadians are nice etc. There are scumbags in every culture and country, South Korea included. There are many more ethically sound and morally straight people in society than those few in this video that were likely selected from a bunch to cause a reaction and to gain traction/publicity; more views/subs, more money for the channel and those involved.

And yeah, there were a LOT of Koreans that were disgusted by those things said in the video.

It was an unfortunate painting of Korean men on their part, and unfortunately with how figures that were once seen as idols to people suddenly are being exposed to be gross it only adds to the negative stigma for some people :c

I feel like people have this weird disconnect with their actions and consequences of them. Also, women are disproportionately affected by these videos and harmed by them and honestly sometimes it's hard to get people to see past themselves and what happens to others in the first place so even harder with trying to get some men to understand what happens to women

I saw some knetz comments disagreeing with them and worried that international fans were going to think this way of Koreans... if it's true then its super creepy that its normal for men to take pleasure from illegal videos of women being filmed without their consent. but there are trashy people in every country, there's no need to generalize based off of 2 people.
