GOD I AGREE. Not because of the loudness particularly, but Kpop imo is getting too much western influence in it's sound. These days, companies are more focused on pleasing the west rather than their own region.

I cant agree with this .
i have songs where i super dislike the original but will actually listen to and enjoy the cover.

and Johnny Cash's "HURT" is just much more emotional.
