Breaking down SVT members appeal: SVT is the most perfect group in kpop (1 Viewer)

I love analyzing kpop groups
To think about WHY a certain member is in the group

A good group should be well rounded and all the members should have their own appeal and reason to be in the group without overlapping with any of the others and the larger a group is, the harder it is to make it that way. To give every member their own little niche to fit into and gain fans from.

Seventeen is the largest group imo to achieve perfection. Where none of the members step on each others toes as far as concept and target fandom goes. Some members share SOME of their appeal points, but everybody has something unique only to them. (And this unique part also gets showcased often and prominently)
SOoooooo here is me breaking down the SVT members appeal!

Vocal team:

Woozi - Cute visuals + producer, he appeals 2 sorts of fans. The "talent" fans and the fans who love cuteness
Jeonghan - feminine visuals + Michievous character. Attracts visual stans and people who love to see rules not followed on shows
DK - Vocals + innocent, almost stupid character. He gets the musical fans and fans who love idols with cute personalities.
Joshua - American + "Well behaved gentleman". For all that SVT has exposed that the gentleman concept is fake, it's still his and has it's own appeal. He gets the fans who like americans and he gets the fans who want to be taken to a candlelit dinner and be gifted roses.
Seungkwan - Vocals + pure undiluted variety. For him I'd say he doesn't get much of the vocal fans, but he more than makes up for it with the variety appeal. If a fan loves funny variety idols, Seungkwan is their pick.

Hip-hop team:

S.Coups - Leader + soft, Leader is an appeal on it's own and he also has this image of being really kind and caring while also needing to be taken care of himself. He attracts the type of fans who like to see both strength and weakness in their idols. Who want to be hugged but also hug others so to say.
Wonwoo - deep voice + gamer, Deep voice idols always get fans just for their voice, simple as that. He also is a gamer so game loves are more likely to fall for him.
Mingyu - visuals + puppy, He attracts the classic manly visual lovers who can't be captured by jeonghan, he also gets the fans who like excitable personalities
Vernon - halfie + chill, he attracts halfie lovers and stoners, or more to say he attracts fans who like their idols more laid back

Performance team:

Hoshi - Dance + over the top, he attracts those who really look for good performers and those who like their idols.... insane or with infinite energy that never ends.
Jun - Chinese + weird/random, He attracts the chinese fandom and the fans who like idols who give you the "wtf did he just say/do" reaction. The fans who love the unexpected coming from their idol.
The8 - Chinese + artsy, he once again attracts the chinese fandom and the artsy crowd. The fans who want to see the soul of their idols. Who appreciate art etc
Dino - Maknae on top + PASSION, Maknaes like leaders often attract a fandom just for being the maknae. he also has this passion to him that can appeal to fans who want to see their idol put their everything into something.

DK - Vocals + innocent, almost stupid character. He gets the musical fans and fans who love idols with cute personalities.

im sorry i know you mean well but i just get a little sensitive when people use the words ""dumb"" or ""stupid"" to describe him,,,,, you're right tho ! his innocence gets him all the uwu soft stans while his visuals and beefy build ahem thighs ahem appeal to the hard stans (though tbh he lost a lot of his beefiness around home era;;), the best of both worlds i guess? he and mingyu are kinda alike in that sense, they both have big himbo energy lol gentle and somewhat naive seksi giants,, it makes sense why so many dk stans also bias mingyu and vice versa

Wonwoo - deep voice + gamer, Deep voice idols always get fans just for their voice, simple as that. He also is a gamer so game loves are more likely to fall for him.

this lol but i also think his bookworm image gets him all the fans who love the quiet, sexy nerd types. the8 has the wise, grounded vibe while wonwoo is the highschool heartthrob with the manhwa/actor-esque visuals and honestly i get it i really do though personally i love when he gets really loud and has fun w the other members, he's so dorky its really cute

I agree he isn't stupid, but that's the kind of a concept he has y'know. Kinda how like Woozi's personality isn't really cute, but he'll play up those parts for the cameras!

I agree he isn't stupid, but that's the kind of a concept he has y'know. Kinda how like Woozi's personality isn't really cute, but he'll play up those parts for the cameras!

you're right yea hes does play it up for laughs, its totally his thing so i get what you meant in your post ! he has a great sense of humor and is admittedly a little naive at times, but some people take it too seriously and pigeonhole him as an ""idiot/no brain"" when dokyeom already lacks so much confidence and constantly sells himself short by pushing his opinions and ideas down, so thats why im a little sensitive about using the words dumb/idiot/stupid/... to describe him i hope you didnt take my other comment negatively or somethign i really loved your post

I get the same way when I see smbdy going in a bit too hard with the Woozi smol and cute agenda...

Like jokes about him being short I don't mind bcs well... the man's short no way over or around it
but then some ppl go just like "Oh look at the widdle Woozi, does he need help reaching the top shelf UwU!" And I just want to kill them
