I said that due to the obvious power imbalance since the beginning, there's no reason to feel sorry for a man who is a rich and powerful figure in an industry over some alleged relationship. It’s a fact GDragon is privileged. That’s completely undeniable. He has a lot of power and influence in the industry. Most of his own age peers are loaded with debt, insane working hours, and it would take more than their entire year’s salary to obtain what GD gets for free from luxury brands who are sponsoring him. Obviously Jennie also has privilege compared to the average woman but there’s still a social disparity in Korea.

Okay, people can feel sorry for whoever they want. There’s literally people who feel sorry for Trump because he lost an election and feel sorry for cops because they are being scrutinized.It’s their choice if they want to be out of tune with reality. Unfortunately their attitudes help fuel narratives against people who are truly oppressed.

Hence I made this thread because of the reinforcement of misogynistic stereotypes being perpetuated on social media, with again, the woman being automatically considered “the fox”, “the cheater”, “the one who made GD sad”. All of this pushed without evidence and without purpose except serving internalized misogyny and the patriarchy.
