My last hit thread. Jennie from the square. Kinda got me curious yall thought she was overrated when I never really see many praise her tbh so I dont see how she is but anyway for you which female idol is?

For me. Seulgi. I honestly never got the seulgi hype and her dance is sloppy and stiff. Her singing is great but thats all really I dont know what else is, people hype her up a lot when she to me is the least prettiest in rv.

I dont dislike her like jennie I do acknowledge she can sing but personality wise she is nothing special to me. Shes not this great girl everyone says she is to me. I think wendy is way more interesting.

The way I see it: Seulgi is the Seohyun of Red Velvet. Well-rounded, 100% effort 24/7, unconventional visual, one of the least problematic idols ever. But I can see how she can be considered overrated as she's the most popular from Non fans. I think he dancing is great tho.

One of the most overrated idols imo: Krystal.
We SM didn't just debut her as actress is something I'll never understand. She's just not a good idol in any sense of the word.

an OK singer, a slightly better than avarage rapper and an avarage dancer. I get that she is an all-rounder, but to me it doesn't really matter if somebody is an all-rounder or not, I want them to be really good at least 1 thing!

I don't get her popularity. She is pretty, but she only has 1 expression. She isn't good at singing or dancing or rapping. She doesn't even have the Variety sense that Sakura does! (I don't care for Sakura much, but I get why she is popular)

I agree with what you said, but she still slowly became one of my favourites! It's obviously mostly because of her visuals that she made it in, but I think it's her personality why people still keep liking her. She's this friendly, food-loving girl who enjoys comfortable things, so I'm pretty sure many people find her cute and harmless, like I'm sure many people would like to befriend her. I'm sure Japanese fans like her even more, as there idol business is more about personality and less about talent.

Krystal is and has been proven to be a crazy solid female stan attractor.
Also she is the only other vocal in fx (well Amber ) she does have a bunch of highlight parts in the songs.
And she is the poster child for the anti bubbly idol.
Sm wanted her as an Idol just like the currently want Lami.
