Things that need to come back as a 8+ year KPOP fan (1 Viewer)

This is a list that I've made of all the things I want to come back into K-pop since being a fan since 2011-ish.

• Mature Concepts/Groups
  • Examples: AOA, Sistar, BEG, Ladies' Code, SPICA, etc
• Idols debuting at 17+ instead of 13 (I'm looking at you Class:y & NMIXX)
• Summer Comebacks
• Battle Trip Mukbang (this is so niche but I don't care)
• Part-switch dance practices
• Album release vlives
• Pre-stan twitter fandoms
• 2 Album versions instead of 43 versions /hj
• Solos/Duets/Collab songs on albums
• Groups that have lore (HYYH BTS, Loonaverse, etc)
• Collaboration Live Stages
  • Examples: Twice x Gfriend stage, Sunny Girls Taxi stage, etc.)
• Members in groups having Official Positions
  • Might be a personal opinion, but like... I enjoy when my bias has a position (It doesn't mean they can't do other things, but I enjoy seeing them having their set positions and doing very well in them!!

It makes me not stan groups because I am NOT going to watch a 15 year old do a dance cover to WAP or something

No one in NMIXX was 13 at debut; while the youngest was still only 15 now 16 it wasn’t as young as Class:y’s

Some of my favorite songs on some albums are the solos/duets! I mainly was thinking about EXID's album that has all of the solo/duet songs <333

Idols debuting 13/14 has always been a thing in Kpop, from Boa, Krystal, Taemin, Hyuna, Sohee, Kara's Jiyoung, Apink's Hayoung, 4minute's Sohyun, April's Jinsol and Fromis_9's Jiheon, among many other nugu groups (for example multiple members of the groups Chocolat and c.real in 2011)

This is true. My point is more so about how majority of idols debuting now are underaged around 13-15. Were there idols debuting that young for years? Yes, but now it's the standard. You don't see really any bigger companies debuting idols that are above 20 unless they've had a following previously (Ex. Sakura/Chaewon/Yunjin from LESSERAFIM)

I could go on and on about stan Twitter. As someone who has been into kpop for a decade now, I remember before there was a heavy stan Twitter presence, especially certian fandoms, not naming any names

its a double edged sword.
1. the trainees do not have much patience now. Nor do the companies look how fast sm blew up all of sr15g. And Aespa is still on the older side of new groups. AT debut with 2 int 20's a 19 about to be 20 and a 18. heck in Korean age they were all but ning ning 21. baring Irene older than Red Velvet at debut and Red velvet is viewed as an old group.

2. If they start training at 12-14 that is a longer period than many many trainees atm. 3+ years training is well above the norm now.
The kids themselves start to loose hope at 19+

i disagree most idols are 16-18 , while many new groups have a 06-08 very few have half or more that young.

i really hope for this too, AOA have one of the best discographies among girl groups and spica's vocals are nearly unmatched to this day. but seeing the obsession kpop companies have with debuting middle school kids i don't see this happening

I'd love to see collab stages again (and not two groups performing one after the other and calling it "collab" lol) for example I recently watched the GOT7 x NCT stage (hey, come on) and it was amazinggg
