Have you ever had an attraction to a girl that wasn't sexual, but nonetheless strong. Like the type of attraction where you just want to be in a room with them and write poetry about how beautiful they are? Maybe even hold hands with them?

I haven't had anything QUITE like that, but smth SIMILAR to this is what made me realize that I'm aroace

I have this one friend. At one point I started having quite strong feelings for them. I really loved being around them, wanted to hang out with them all the time and just generally LIKED them a lot.
It took me around a month to figure out what I was experiencing was not a crush or anything like that, but smth akin to queerplatonic attraction.

Different types of attraction can honestly be really hard to tell apart, I'd say what you are experiencing is very strong romantic attraction. If you aren't interested in them in a romantic way, it could be strong aesthetic attraction.

Feelings are weird and complicated

I barely met the girl. She came and sat at my table because a girl in the bar was sexually harrassing her. I talked to her for like 10-15 minutes while the people I came with were getting sick in the bathroom. Flawless alabaster skin and deep light-ish red hair. Gingers surround me...

Aroace is short for Aromantic and asexual. It means I don't experience sexual attraction to anybody (asexual) and that I don't experience any romantic attraction to anyone (aromantic)

That sounds like a really strong case of aesthetic attraction. Which literally means you find her aesthetically very attractive, but that doesn't make you necessarily want to have sex with her OR to necessarily have a romantic relationship with her.

I met her once, but I have had strong-ish feelings for women all my life. (1) The girl at the grocery store I used to frequent (2) The girl I went to school with in Vegas (3) The waitress at summer camp.. I'm sure there's more, but I don't recall. I'm not counting female celebs/idols because we'd be here all day. I mean lets be honest: even people raise up from the grave to admire Jihyo.

After my divorce a decade ago I was so depressed for 3 years I never even looked at another woman. After I became un depressed I'd gotten so use to being alone and set in my ways that I prefer to be single now. My life is stress free now and I have a ton of money. I prefer this as I get older to dating. I just admire beautiful women from afar.

I’m asexual so this would be the ideal kind of attraction for me. I want to tell them how beautiful they are, I want to hold hands, but sex doesn’t interest me whatsoever. I’m definitely more into the romantic aspect of a relationship.

ye more than one. some of my sisters friends had a lot of charisma and i got along well with them. one of them i ended up going out a couple times just us 2 and we got drunk, had a fun time and went back home. it was like i went out chilling with one of my boys. she was fun to get drunk with and we always had amazing talks. never had a sexual attraction for her, but she was pretty no doubt
there was more girls like that, but most i didnt really go out much with, but their charisma and personality stood out so much

Haikus are about my speed even in school and that was so far in the past......

I hayr syllables so haikus were never my thing. I prefer freeform with rhymes... like freestyle hip hop, but without the violence and overt sexualisms. lol
