A tradition I have is:
every year during spring break I'd watch one piece and then once break is over, I'd stop and wait for more episodes to come out.
I do this mainly cause I hate waiting for new episodes to come out and it's easier to forget about it, wait, and then binge watch it all at once.

A tradition my school has:
every year towards the end of the school year, all the seniors would participate in this game called assassin where people would try to "assassinate" each other with water balloons.
Everyone's given a target and every week they get a new target.
If you don't get your target out, you're out and if someone get's you out.. well you're out too lol

The night before I have to take a big test, I eat little to nothing and blast Fire Truck at high volume. It works for reasons I do not know.

for every spring break except this one we went skiing in Wyoming
now that my sister moved away to college it's harder ofc
and it's expensive TT
but also we watch a movie/tv episode every saturday night as a family
and eat as a family every sunday and go over the week
i have a personal tradition of procrastination if that counts too

i'm not the biggest fan of skiing but it's always a unique experience, and my instructor down there is honestly one of the coolest people i've ever and will ever meet. i just hope i get to see him again someday.

Every Summer we return to Japan for Obon to pay respect to our ancestors.
Every New Year's Eve/Day as a family we do our first Temple visit for the year and also enjoy Osechi Ryori (New Year food)

They are and being a British/Japanese family we get to enjoy food traditions of both cultures


You'll love it! Especially if you enjoy anime that is slice of life, drama, romance and has beautiful story telling and character development. I've re watched it every year since the air dates.

im highkey jealous lmaooo Japanese food always looks so good and British people have a lot of food customs too

ngl im not a fan of slice of life when it comes to anime, but if the story telling and character development is good, id probably love it

and a lot of the Japanese food that we eat in our household are my wife's family recipes I also forgot another tradition..... Every Sunday we have a Sunday Roast dinner.

They are Quite often we'll go to either my Mum's place or my Grandmother's place as they do amazing roasts. It also gives them a chance to see my wife and our girls.

Sunday Roasts are easily the biggest family meal of the week for British families.

And I'm gonna keep it that way because... it's tradition
