I love Russian Blues, my very best friend was a Russian Blue, I sadly had to rehome him because of life stuff. But they’re amazing cats, literally like a dog in a cats body. They bond incredibly close to their owners. I remember whenever I was sick he would never leave my side, only to eat or quickly use the kitty box. Christmas is always incredibly hard without him, each year he would supervise us decorating, he knew what boxes were Christmas decorations and knew exactly what to expect when they came out. He was the best cat I’ve ever had.

Lol it isn't a breed at all, it's just a name for a certain coloring pattern (tri-color pattern) which is caused by having certain genes in each X chromosomes (why it's only females) since the X chromosome contains the genes for the black and orange coloring. A calico cat would have one X chromosome with black colored genes, and one X chromosome with genes for orange coloring, and the base fur would ofc be the white

The only way for male calico cats is when there's a mutation and a cat ends up with 3 chromosomes, xxy, being intersex. As the y chromosome is what determines becoming male, despite having two x chromosomes, being intersex, and having female characteristics because of this, they would be biologically male
