I was getting my hair cut [at a salon] and the hairdresser was talking to another hairdresser and was like so you want a pompadour [I didn't btw]... and the other hairdresser said "what's a pompadour." How is that your occupation and you don't know what a pompadour is? The woman grew up during the time of Elvis and didn't know what a pompadour was.

Basically according to Wikipedia, the pompadour (or its basic concept) is "having a large volume of hair swept upwards from the face and worn high over the forehead, and sometimes upswept around the sides and back as well."

The bottom ones look more presentable but I still wouldn’t want that on my head
