I usually say I'm a fan more than "stan"

but to consider myself a fan, I know all the members, like most of their songs, play some on repeat, and they make me happy, music, variety, dance practice, anything, and I want to promote them to others

Also I feel proud to like their music

Whenever I feel ready to call myself that. Sometimes it’s after knowing less than half of their discography and struggling to match names to faces, other times it’s after I’ve known them for more than a year. It all depends and varies on the group for me. As for other people, I think the only thing that determines if someone else is a stan or not is whether or not they identify themselves as such, and that’s it.

it's only if i like the majority of their music. personality doesn't matter much because it's not like i'll ever get to know them anyway and i don't have time to watch variety shows.

Same! I listen to many korean acts' whole discography and some I even think all the members are likeable and everything. But If I don't feel the affection, then I won't consider myself a stan.
