my mom even made “salad” with it, the ramen cakes broken up, the seasoning, some lettuce, some chaat masala, and some olive oil

You know what's stupid?
We Koreans made noodles that was meant to be eaten raw, like a snack, called 'Ppushu Ppushu [ Break, Break ] Noodle Snack', in yellow packaging, if you go to Korean supermarkets. The things people create to make money.



I thought to buy a few of those, cook them and eat it to see how they tasted. But, I have not, yet.
My guess ~ They probably taste like regular cooked noodles.

Yeah I can't see them doing anything that different with like... how they are making "snack" ramen that would make them taste different when cooked. Still, I'd be interesting in trying it to see lol.
