My thoughts on Pokemon Scarlet + mini rant (1 Viewer)

So far (after getting 9 badges), it's pretty good. Even though I gave myself some spoilers before buying it (like the identity of Cassiopeia), it's still fairly enjoyable. Shroodle and Grafaiai are cool (af), and so is pretty much every town. Sandwiches are also pretty neat (I make them mostly for the fun of it, but Egg Power is pretty nice). Some of the complaints I have though, are Finizen's evolution requirements (like, NOT EVERYONE HAS FRIENDS FFS) and not being able to take off the goddamn uniforms (which don't look that good).

Speaking of uniforms.

WE"RE GETTING DLC FOR THIS SOON

I haven't really enjoyed the idea for DLC in Pokemon nowadays. In Sword it was fine, but with the uniform thing in SV, I wasn't exactly pleased (ESPECIALLY with how good the uniforms look.) I don't have a Nintendo membership nor an eShop account, so there's no way I'll get the DLC. However, since I've yet to complete Scarlet (and I hear that there's an Academy Ace Tournament post-game), I might as well see what happens.

Anywho those were my thoughts.

For Finizen you aren't actually locked out of Palafin if you can't evolve it yourself as Palafin has a chance of showing up in 5 Star Raids which is post game so still sucky if you want one on your story team but it is obtainable.

As for the DLC I prefer it to the alternative of having to buy the game or even two games as the other option and I did like Sword/Shields DLC but will have to wait and see.

Slowking, Scizor and Gengar are also available that way but if there's anything else you're out of luck.

Not getting any change for outfits ane being limited gave this a big negative score.
and the elite four were way too easy.

In my case I got my pokemon fainted like 4-5 times (I only had like 5 pokemon total) so not that easy but yeah.

I wonder if it's related to the strict deadlines but that's for another day.

Mine were all duel types which is either a payoff or disaster.
I also felt no emotion from the elite four at all. Just bland personalities.
deadlines could be why.
