Yeah, I can kinda get the point you are trying to get across without using google translate, but not that well. I am even mroe shook that translate doesn't give this a good translation into Estonian or english! But together with my meager knowledge of Finnish and what the translate gave me, I get the point!
also, kaaskannataja... That you wrote as kallisarvone... It means somebody who suffers alongside me! Kaasa means alongside or with and kannataja means sufferer! So I called them somebody who suffers with me!
I thought it'd be fun since I think you have said you would like to study bit of finnish? ^^
Sometimes google translate translates Finnish exactly right, sometimes it's mess. I guess it didn't like I didn't use standard written language all the time and instead posted more how I would normally do it.
Some of attempts of google translate are bit hilarious though:
Terve Maria ^^ -> Healthy Maria -> Hi/Hello/Howdy Maria. - I'm disappointed with google translate on this one. Terve is such common way saying hi.
Ilman sitä kääntäjä ohjelmaakin mihin taisit viitata, aattelin et hieman huijaust sellane näi suomalaisen. ->
Without that translator, where did you refer, I thought you did not seem like a scam. ->
Without that translating program too that I think you were referring, I was thinking it would be a bit of cheating as a Finn.
- At least it was trying??
siis voin sanoa mitä vain ja teillä ei oo hajuakaa -> then I can say just what you do and don't smell. ->so i can say whatever and you don't have a clue
Kun olen lopettanu katon et millast parasta automaatti käännöstä tästä saan. ->
When I have finished the roof you millast the best automatic translation of this I can get. -> when i have finished I'll go look what the best automatic translation would be that I can get out of this. - okay this was difficult sentence since i was trying to translate your estonian I didn't really understand to finnish
I was actually translating "minu kallis" as kallisarvoinen, well i could have just translated as minun kallis as well. I was thinking the meaning of that is my dear or my precious. Not sure exactly?
Kaaskannataja I couldn't actually say, I was guessing it wouldbe sth like maanmies = fellow-countryman. So I was off lol. Kaaskannataja would be then kanssakärsijä in finnish which in english would be translated to with-sufferer, with= kanssa and kärsijä=sufferer. Kaaskannataja just doesn't say anything to me and I guessed it wrong in context too ^^;
