Hoppipolla (호피폴라) is a four-member Korean rock band that won JTBC's SuperBand. They debuted on July 12, 2019 and
released their first single "About Time" on November 16, 2019.
The name Hoppipolla is based on the 2005 song of Icelandic avant-rock band, Sigur Ros. "Hoppipolla" literally means "hopping in puddles" - the song is about the carefree time as a child when one can find great joy and freedom by jumping in the rain puddles.

Where is: 6/10
It has a 6 because while I would actually listen to this, its too short 😭 the build up just for it to end made me sad

The Love: 8/10
I actually like this one, remind me of something I would listen during my rock era in 2014 lol, it makes me nostalgic

Unnatural: 7/10
This one is very pretty, also gives me 2014 vibes haha, kinda like daughtry

Overall I'm not a big fan not because it's bad but I'm just never in the mood for ballads, he has a lovely voice and each song was beautiful and emotional! I felt each song and he expressed everything emotion in it

Your ocean - 7.5/10

I don’t normally like ballads but this made me emotional. I cant exactly explain why. Their vocals are really beautiful. And I love the comparison of emotion to nature. Very nice.

The Love - 5.5/10

This one wasn’t as impactful as the other one but its nice. The one lyric in the beginning (translated) about how the rusty mirror is responsible for heartbreak is a unique analogy.

About time - 4/10

It sounds sort of unfinished, I’m not sure why. They are talented guys for sure, their vocals stand out.

I do have a genuine question, I do like their vocals so do they have any songs that aren’t ballads? Or are they a solely ballad based group?

@OndaBest 'where is' is just an into to the album. but I know how u feel, I sometimes like the intros the best and am like 'why is this not a full song?' and 'the love' is actually my fav song from that album. q.q (oh and there are 2 singers ;) )

if you like their vocals, I'll and hyunsang are also a solo artists. hyunsang just recently released his new solo album. but its more indie, so if u like upbeat pop sounds more, I rec 'nostalgia' from his album 'the edge'.

So based on the feedback that we received, we decided to do 2 changes to the event to see if they will help make the event more interesting:
1. from now on, the choices of the prices will be either to receive: 250 points and a random rare card or 250 points and a gif badge
2. the event will now be open to all international artists
