Why does nobody talk about Wanna One nowadays? (1 Viewer)

So i'm not a wannable, not even close to it. But I've been thinking about them for the past hour and like, why does nobody talk about them anymore?

We still hear stuff about izone and x1, hell I even hear about ioi time to time (of course it's to a lesser extent but my point still stands) so why not wanna one?

I think what really confuses me is that everything went right with wanna one. ioi got tons of hate for their songs during their promotions, and izone and x1 had the scandal. Whilst Wanna one, they literally had nothing bad or big happen to them. They had amazing sales (for the time), one of the biggest fandoms, the individual members were so popular too and that's really hard to do in such a big group like them. And season 2 of produce was the highest rates (I think, I need to check). So is there any reason why we don't talk about them more? Has the fandom naturally died out? Has other groups overridden their attention? Has their music and shows aged?

people always crave drama, so them having no problems is probably one of the reasons why they are not talked about anymore..

Keep in mind X1 only existed for like 2 weeks? IZ*one not only existed by far the longest out of those 4 groups, but also many of their former members are dominating 4th gen now, so IZ*one naturally keeps getting brought up all the time too because of that

I think you missed a few chapters they got plenty of hate/scandal articles and there were moments when they were active and even moments as recent as this year.... all the members are doing their own things now so I think more people are more focused on the future.

Well they disbanded ages ago and the rigging scandal didn’t help. My guess is that, along with the kind of show they come from makes it so that people will move on more quickly, whether it’s to another produce group or a group that has a former Wanna One member they liked. IOI were the first so I feel like that helped keep people talking about them, and Izone were a group for a longer time and we’re much pre recent. There could be lots of other factors too ofc

I wouldn't say they're super popular right now but closer to when they debuted everyone knew who AB6IX was, and I was just trying to explain that the members themselves had fans predebut that helped boost the group's popularity.
