I'm guessing underage drinking and smoking? Yeah that definitely isn't a good public image. And possible history of bullying as well? I can understand why companies wouldn't want to invest in someone when the idol image is very fickle with the media and public.

Yeah. As for the bullying part though, as someone who used to be bullied, and also not such a good person, I understand the immense effect it has on others.

My thing is, I'm curious if an idol can get banned for bullying when they were a child? Since they can change, or have apologized. I have no idea. But I certainly don't want someone of ill character on a show. Glad he was banned.

I suppose rumours like these when a trainee is involved can receive a bigger backlash from the public and a loss of revenue for the company as the person in question doesn't already have a established fandom that will stand by them..

JYP has a really strict code of conduct for all of their staff, trainees and artists. I'm totally not surprised that they decided to drop him tbh

Basically, after the first episode aired one of his old classmates came out and exposed him for drinking and smoking while underage and said that he was a well known bully all through middle and high school. There were a few pics of him but most of them were blurry so a lot of people were waiting to see what JYP was gonna do before making a judgement but I guess this is pretty much confirming the accusations...
