I tried to think about the reasons... maybe with the members from Kep1er coming in, they want to pretend it's a new debut as those usually get more hype

Also maybe they want to avoid the situation where the new members are not accepted by fans and by just rebranding the group hope to avoid such issues..?

With 4 members coming in, thats more than 50% new members, maybe they felt like it's too different form the original group...

But yeah I'm just wildly speculating

This doesn't really make sense to me, given that Limelight isn't a total nugu. Honestly did really well, and their last two albums sold pretty well.

Unless they're going to make Limelight the subunit for the current three members? But this otherwise doesn't make great business sense. Minx's rebrand into Dreamcatcher is the only one I can think of where the rebrand ended up more successful than the original.

Yeah, this feels like they they are throwing out a perfectly good foundation. It's also not fair for the three original members.

its supposed to be made in because so many of the members were from survival shows is what i read.
