And I don’t see a reason to not like the rap. Hanbin did good and his voice fits perfectly with Hayi. I wouldn’t want anyone else doing that part

Me not liking the rap part is totally subjective. It's just personal taste, I don't really have a major reason why I don't like it. His rap tone is just not for me.

I personally always was a fan of his rap and his tone and even liked it more than Bobby‘s during Win

Anyway Yoda, reading your OP just reminded me of why I haven't liked most YG/Teddy songs lately. It's that damn generic beat drop chorus everytime that drags it down to just good instead of amazing, Jennie's Solo was the worst offender of this. And you know it's coming from a mile away.

I love everything else about the song- the verses, BI's part and the pre-chorus. But that beat drop yeah......I'm doubly pissed coz CLC's Me has the same issues for me.

Also agreed about the Desi sounding thing, kind of a mix between Desi/Latin(ish) and trap music, felt the same during D4's ending honestly during the dance break.

I loved the match as well, the added nice effects with him through the song, like during chorus and in the end. And I think his tone is both bright and youngful enough to create nice contract to Lee Hi. He can sound bit bratty at times so doesn't fit to everytype of song, but perfect fit for me in this one, felt like the rap was really part of song (also thanks to chorus effects) rather than taped over it.

I gotta say though, I really like the lyrics ~

Well I usually don't mind the generic beat drop as long as it's done tastefully. Solo was good though it didn't age well with me. Oh God CLC's Me's chorus was like the ultimate buzzkill. The chorus reminds me of that one dude that says something fucked whilst we're all enjoying a nice conversation smh.

yeah he does sound „bratty“ in some songs. He was more cool here. I do enjoy his songs like One & Only where he has more of a „bratty“ attitude but like you said his approach for No One was perfect and it fits Hayi‘s general style.
