Not in the sense of talking though, the other definition where it means something has 2 parts connected by a flexible joint. One example would be a robotic arm that has points where the arm can bend. Or train cars connected to each other, they’re made in such a way to allow the train to turn because each car has flexible joins between them. I thought this was a very well known definition, but the other day someone asked me why I called a figurine articulated because they only knew the definition pertaining to speaking well. And interestingly, they are related.

Articulation in a speech form used to mean being able to pronounce things well, which is a result of knowing how to correctly place your tongue within your mouth in order to achieve the intended sound. Over time, it shifted to be more about word choice as education became more publicly available.

sorry my spoiler meant to say

speaking of which - how is your knee vikki? would you say it's almost completely recovered? like are you able to move around and undertake strenuous exercise?
Yeah, basically good as new. It’s been a while since I had to limit myself at all because of it. To be fair I don’t exactly do strenuous exercise regardless but that’s just because I don’t like most exercise. The hardest stuff I do is easy tumbling sometimes :scree:

Not really sure, I seem to have developed quite a knack for injuring myself at this point and I’m not too crazy about testing the limits. For now I’ve put myself at a restriction that I’ll only do easy skills (ie no no-handed flips) unless on a trampoline. But we’ll see if I get too tempted to try some harder stuff eventually :coronawimwim: But for now that’s my restriction. But I’ve started doing related things without flips (like combining walkovers and roundoff type skills with playing frisbee and working on flexibility). Those things ofc can cause injury, but the chance of acute injury is lower. And they’re fun in their own way :sanapray:

that sounds great my friend (even though I have no idea what half the terms you mention mean lol)
I'm glad that you can still partake in something that seems extremely meaningful to you whilst min the risk of further serious injury
