Only if there is no other option and I never sit down on the toilet seat lol
I'm sorry, I don't wanna be that person but to think of medieval Europeans, especially the peasantry whose literal goal in life were to survive, as dirty and unhygienic is just wrong. Europe had toilets, people did bathe and washed their hands before and after eating. If you're going to (literally) shit on people in the past make it informative.Medieval Europe. We had our evolution till around the millenium and then we started to backtrack, and it won't be long anymore till they swing clubs and scream ooga booga.

Reliable cleaning staff. When I work in a building I usually see the cleaning ladies (or their wagon outside the bathroom) multiple times in a day.I guess corporate buildings might be less prone at being disgusting. How different are they?
But, aren't you afraid of catching something? (The information thoI always do and my shit and piss thank meeeee for it

Oh, I too get the need to pee like, every 30 minutes if I drink a little water.@Drug I just have an overactive bladder so when the average person maybe goes once while we are out for a day, I need at least three trips to the bathroom. A little too much information but oh wellOh yes - the porta potty story… that was traumatic. So one day we were out and I asked my mom if we could stop somewhere with a bathroom because it was an emergency and I didn’t know if the next place we were going to had a bathroom. I go and it is FULL… like can’t even sit on the toilet type of full. So I hover and go because there is literally no other option. I was so grossed out that nothing else could ever compare.
That's interesting. I don't go in hotels a lot. I always thought they only cleaned once in a day. I have this prejudice that I always think that hotels and motels barely care to clean, I'm glad that I am wrong on this.Reliable cleaning staff. Relax. I'm sure the people back then don't mind. It was just a joke, you don't have to take it to heart, like, it's not that deep.I'm sorry, I don't wanna be that person but to think of medieval Europeans, especially the peasantry whose literal goal in life were to survive, as dirty and unhygienic is just wrong. Sis, don't bother. I got the joke, I laugh and some people won't find it funny. When that happens, I just either don't reply to them or just say sorry to satisfy them and move on from it. Also, I like your name~I like how you left out the part I literally said "but on a serious note". I don't get how you snowflakes take what I said as a serious thing especially as the OP also used words in a playful manner, so I joined in. You dig way too deep into things looking for issues where there are none. Move on.

Oh. Still, I didn't know that they cleaned them a lot. It kinda put my fate back in public bathrooms**I only know that for corporate buildings... I don't know about hotel/motel bathrooms![]()
Thank you, it's based of the word Insomnia which is the fandom of Dreamcatcher.Sis, don't bother. I got the joke, I laugh and some people won't find it funny. When that happens, I just either don't reply to them or just say sorry to satisfy them and move on from it. Also, I like your name~
Look I just thought it was unfunny and frankly classist. If you have humour fucking on poor people go for it. No need to respond in an unkind manner.I like how you left out the part I literally said "but on a serious note". If you read the OP their first comment, I thought that would give away this was a lighthearted topic. If you hadn't attacked me like you know me, then you wouldn't have gotten a unkind response. You derailed the conversation making it an issue not me.Look I just thought it was unfunny and frankly classist. If you have humour fucking on poor people go for it. It doesn't sound light-hearted to call toilets medieval. But we're not going to agree. And I didn't attack you, not your morals nor your character, the middle ages are one of my interests and I tend to correct anyone whether it's a joke or not. We have different styles of communications and that's okay.If you read the OP their first comment, I thought that would give away this was a lighthearted topic. ...Yeah, I am not sure if you are reading what I am reading. I never said toilets are medieval like ever. The OP spoke in a VIctorian style, so I replied back in a medieval style by using the word "peasants". I really fail to see where you get all this from that I said, but if you like I will have mods delete all my comments. It doesn't sound light-hearted to call toilets medieval. (That's another misconception, victorians also being dirty, but I won't lecture y'all)...Yeah, I am not sure if you are reading what I am reading. I never said toilets are medieval like ever. Exactly, peasants. Like yeah that's my point. But it's whatever, it's the internet, this will blow over. You don't gotta delete anything.
I am catching a whiff at bestBut, aren't you afraid of catching something? (The information tho)
I also like Dreamcatcher too!Thank you, it's based of the word Insomnia which is the fandom of Dreamcatcher.
Yeah, but it does bother me if you cannot make a joke and people find the need to suddenly dig deep even when their heritage is not even linked in the slightest to my culture. I am from Europe, If there is one era in time I am the most interested in the west it is medieval times. I just did not see the link between my joking where I am from with how people lived in the medieval times. As I spoke of current times not medieval times. I also think I have the right to speak my mind of my own dang country. If I think and it's scientifically proven that it's rather nasty here in public restrooms, then that is what it is.
Either way, my apologies for turning your lighthearted topic into something that apparently is blasphemy to some.![]()
Pfft, I'll trust you on that.I am catching a whiff at best
