Announcement Urgent server migration (1 Viewer)

[Sourcekeeper]

We will be undergoing a server migration on Tuesday, Nov 4, from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM (SGT).

Services will be unavailable for an estimated 3 hours during this window.

This is to alleviate the slowness everyone has been experiencing.

Server will move from new York to manassas Virginia.

Thanks for continuing to care about this forum and the tiny details like that, I'm sure a lot of the other forum members and me can agree that we are grateful for the work you continue to do

Like 3 hours from now

damn, that's not exactly when I'm sleeping lol it's at the very tail end of my day, but not quite nighttime for me

Glad to know it was a server related issue and not my browser. There were times it would load slowly for me, then shortly after it would go faster again. Giving reactions or placing posts/comments seemed to also lag a tiny bit which luckily didn't cause it to appear twice. Hopefully all problems will be resolved then.

@Asa you said "three hours from now" at like 6pm my time, and it's almost 10 now... maybe you're delaying it?

FYI:
Rand posted the cards page for users' list isn't loading(not an urgent issue compared to fully upgrading the server) just seemed sthg to let Asa know for when there's time to look into it.

Working for anyone else?
or is it part of the server switch?
