Then in their subsidiaries, DSP has KARD and Young Posse, but BM basically said that they're leaving when their contract expires in December. And in RBW, that just leaves 2/4 of Mamamoo and technically the group promotions for Mamamoo as a whole, Onewe, and technically Purple Kiss, but they're officially disbanded and they've done nothing solo-wise with the girls (although, to be frank, none of them have enough individual popularity to carry solo promos either).

And recent departures are: Oneus, B1A4, Chaeyeon, ONF, Uspeer, YooA and Arin of OMG.

Really makes you wonder what the hell RBW offered her.

To be fair I'm always hesitant to add non commercial selling groups to topics like this since sure they have the groups but how long are they going to back them? It's obvious RBW is likely to keep backing ones like the remaining Mamamoo and Oh My Girl members but Purple Kiss only lasted 5 years which given that they are still under RBW seems like they just said it's not worth investing any more into them and cut their activities early.

I'm sure they probably offered her a good deal hoping she'll turn out different to Chaeyeon but this just seems like Eunbi went out and boarded the titanic as it was sinking

100%. It feels weird listing Purple Kiss as even a technicality, given RBW has given zero indication that they plan to do anything other than wait until their contracts expire. Maybe they'll get lucky and PK will get randomly viral and give them a reason to be worth promoting again, but that's some dumb luck wishing there.

TBH, I feel weird even including Mamamoo as a technicality too, because it's not like Hwasa and Wheein are sitting around in their current agencies, waiting for RBW to be willing to do full group promotions again, so there's a lot of working around their schedules RBW has to do to really be able to use that asset. Hwasa's solo popularity is still ridiculous (even if I'm forever annoyed at PNation not giving her enough albums). But at least they have some committed touring they're doing this summer.

Yes, I'll be curious to see if they manage to keep it going. I know they just had Idid debut last year, and Monsta X has had an impressively stable fandom considering how long they've been active for. But as you've said, a couple of monster groups does not a monster agency make.

She does do some, and works with PsychoRabbit but i can see that. and with as many festivals as MMM has done they seem to have good connections there.
