2026 EOY SOTY TOURNAMENT (5 Viewers)

WE'RE BACK

EOY main page
EOY rules page

Y'all know the drill by now:

Each user can enter two songs that they believe is the most enjoyable from this year, and we vote,
No user can enter the same song, songs accepted are from Dec '25 to Nov '26.
The time from now (27th of Oct as of writing) to the 30th of Nov is the time opened for entering songs, the first round of voting will start on 1st of Dec AEDT
(which means for most of you it'll actually start 30th of Nov).
Users are allowed to change and remove entries between this period.
The order of the songs will be randomised before voting starts.
What counts as a 'soty' song is explained in depth in the rules page, here's a simple list of what is counted:

Lead singles, Pre-releases, Follow-up MVs, One-off digital singles, Popular B-sides
Again, consult the rules page if confused or ask me to check whether the song you want to compete is apart of 'soty' or 'B-side.'
K-pop adjacent entries are accepted as long as the song has been promoted in the K-pop community or has been heavily talked about in the K-pop community.

Each day during the first round will consist of 2-3 matches (depending on how much we get).
The rounds after that will most likely be one match a day. The last match of the rounds may have three songs instead of two due to odd numbers. I'm hoping to finish before New Year's.
The official tiebreaker of this tournament will be me.

I will ask when the voting period begins to LISTEN TO BOTH SONGS before deciding on your vote thank you.
Think wisely during this period, may the odds be ever in your favour!

As always, I will be the one who comes with boy group songs.

I will definitely have a boy group on the B sides!

It's funny, I always get the impression the forums skew heavily GG focused, but in my informal poll a while back, the actual fandom interest is more split lol. BG stans are quieter, I guess!
