Akmu broke thru the wall since april and bom nothing did super well. Even bol 4 lost 200k.
I have jokingly blamed it on bts. The timing is right ... any way since the end of april 3 songs barely cracked the million level.
Most even by big artists doing much worse than normal.

Groups being that large isn't for the Korean public, it's for stans as having a wide variety of personalities and visuals means there is more chance that a member strikes a cord with someone and then gets that person hooked enough to buy albums.

It does seem like the majority of this is one demographic that leans more towards ballads but that has kinda always been a thing just not as dominant as this so I wonder if it really is people using a different platform or that the top like girl groups have all lost hype with the Korean public.
