They really might get smth good. Well baseline is they either get a very good deal or they get the fuck outta there. SM doesn't have many choices unless they want to loose EXO.

Somehow I doubt that will happen, I mean look at the promotions this time already,they are noticeably better than before.

Since 2014/2015 EXO have been such a tight unit (and yes I’m including Yixing in that)
I’m not surprised they’ve spoken about the future and beyond their contracts. If they stay at SM, good for them, but if they wanted to go it alone they’re more than capable (plus CEO Junmyeon of his own company would be awesome)

I know Shinee had very favorable terms for contract renewal, they could make so many decisions for themselves and their comebacks and they were getting a very large amount of the money they brought in. I don't think Exo will be exactly the same just because from what Ive heard Shinee overall had more freedom but I wouldnt be surprised if they renew honestly.

I find it weird that the complaint is over money spent on music videos.

Actually i find most fandoms complaints about promotion empty/hollow when a cb does not go as well as hoped.
If the song does not resonate not much will help it unless the fandom is just stupid large.
If they wanna complain about A & R then i am always up for that.

All 12 signed the same 10yr contract in 2012. What’s come out now is that apparently the Korean member’s contracts freeze during enlistment, which might be where the confusion has come from. Chen confirmed they all signed the same one back in April.
