Will Red Velvet break into my Top 5 songs of 2019? (1 Viewer)

Zimzalabim is currently #6 in my favourite Title/OST songs of 2019 and as it stands this will be the first time since 2015 that a Red Velvet title song hasn't made my Top 5.... (Red Flavor was my #1 song of 2017 and Bad Boy was my #2 song of 2018).

Can this change though with the title track of The ReVe Festival Finale? This is the final comeback of the year that could possibly shake up my Top 5 and when you look at my Top 5, with the exception of Dreamcatcher, it will take something strong from RV's velvet side to knock any of those songs off...

Taeyeon is ranked #1 in my B Side and Japan songs of 2019. (Blue & Vanilla)

This year my taste has been more fixated on slower ballad songs than pop songs from idol groups. (the wife says it's because I'm getting older... haha)

I can relate that despite RV being my #1 GG, their music hasn't been at the top of my fave list this year. Looking at your list though, I think the likelihood of RV's next track being in your top 5 isn't very high. I don't think they'll release a super slow track and it's not going to be anything similar to DC's music either. I feel like it's probably going to be a super experimental track again like ZZB and RBB judging by what SM has been going with lately.

I'm hoping I'm proven wrong though. I miss LOVING their music. UU was good but it wasn't RR or PAB level good which is what I'm craving from them right now. So I said "Yes" to your list simply because I'm hoping it ends up being that level good.

to be perfectly honest I voted no even before I saw the top 5 because no RV song of 2019 deserves to be in the top 5.

I honestly think that maybe it could. We have so far no idea of the comeback song so it‘s difficult to say no at this point.

If RV released a song that was like One Of These Nights or Wish Tree then there is a very high chance.. Because I want a song that suits the winter mood. Especially being so close to Christmas.
But listening to slower songs has been my mood all year. My Top 5 B sides of the year are Taeyeon's Blue & Vanilla, IU's Love Poem, Bol4's Seattle Alone, and the only exception to that has been Chungha's Chica.

It's not that I haven't loved their music. Because I have. It's just that there's 5 other songs that I've enjoyed that bit more and I won't knock one of those songs off just for the sake of RV being my #1 group.
And Zimzalabim was in my Top 5 before IU made her comeback lol (at least Wendy is #1 thought, right? haha)
