I mean, let's be fair, how many people can name members of X1? Most non-stans can't. They won't associate Yohan with X1 if they won't know he was a member of X1 to begin with because they know only X1 and not the names of the members. And Wanna One was far bigger in the eye of Korea's public but still most people knew just Daniel and few other members regardless of the popularity so I believe they'll be fine, it's not their fault, it's all CJ E&M's fault for becoming greedy after seeing the success of the first two seasons. :/

yea sure it not the kids fault .... Does not matter.. there is strength in numbers. Would you want one of the kids in your brand new group especially from a smaller agency. Those groups are on the edge as it is.

Every produce group was fixed. all of em nothing really new happened except the scale. The dude just really saw a way to get some extra for him self and parlay it into building a bigger rep and career. pretty dumb to use a formula to create the rankings but. Probs did it in excel lol.

I just think it will not work out for them long term. We will see 5 year down the road.

Wanna One had a huge scandal way back in 2018 March. They survived it and no one even brings it up anymore because they're disbanded. It'd be odd if a year later they still brought it up in random news articles related to certain members. The only ones not letting them to move on are the ones who're out for them to begin with. Some of the members can return to their original groups and be just fine.

But why wouldn't they want them? It's not the boys fault, they were unaware of the rigging, it's not like they chose to be rigged in or out, adults responsible for the show and for their agencies did that. They need to be punished and that's that, these boys should still get a second chance to begin again.

Because if you think like this, then you should also assume that same thing will happen to IZ*ONE to members in the future, and I doubt you'd want it to happen.

This is probably for the best anyway, the contract was too long and CJENM always shafts the members where money distribution is concerned plus the brand of the group was permanently damaged after the scandal. I think this will work out better for the boys in the end especially the older members if you ask me.

Blowing up the group does not make the story go away.
This will only increase calls for the names to be released.

I do believe the Korean girls are pretty much hosed unless IZ*ONE continues and ends very strong or gets made permanent.
The kids need to control the narrative by their actions.

This is why i think its a mistake for the boys to quit.
As i said before this is horribly bad news for the other boys who were getting compensation. Now best they will get is the kids share from that first album. Not sure they earned much more.

I'm heartbroken for the members. For some of them this was a second chance and who knows if they will have built up the fan base they could have if they promoted longer.

I was hoping for good news but I'm not totally surprised its bad 😭

It is sad but I believe it's because they still didn't have any contracts. If they had contracts, I doubt they would have been let go so easily.

Well, this sucks. Considering that they just announced that both X1 and IZ*ONE would continue their activities this is rather surprising. I wasn't super invested with X1 since barely any of my favourite members got in, but it still sucks.

The boys are probably pretty shafted from now on. People will eventually forget that all of this ever happened and won't care anymore, but the boys will probably also slowly lose their popularity if they wait for too long before redebuting in their respective groups, meaning their success isn't as guaranteed. I guess it'd be pretty hard for those who haven't debuted already to bounce back now. I do hope though that they've gained enough traction to be able to debut again, especially the Starship and BNM boys. Sucks that they have to take the hit for all this.

I’m not surprised but I still feel so sad for the members, even if the show was rigged they still worked so hard to debut and now are disbanding... They had so much potential and I really wanted to see them grow even bigger together.
