just looking RV is also about a third

Bp over half of the hanto number 100k +

Twice like 1/8th 28k

Bts a drop in the bucket 210k out of 3.5 + million.

That is a nice business they have going there. huge chunk of the market wallmart /amazon like

and they have jacked up shipping that is gonna to have to change considering.

I can actually get stuff cheaper thru amazon prime now (just ordered another day 2 for 18.39 and finale for 22.04 day 1 guide for 14.99) than from them just not the rolled posters and guaranteed sets.

Wow this is where IU's numbers came from this time...

Overall, the physical market has been revived again. Groups like WJSN and Fromis_9 are getting pretty good sales, more than older and more famous groups like AOA used to get. Mamamoo used to always sell around the 40-50K range but their latest album surpassed 100K. Even Taeyeon and IU broke some sales records this time round.

Ktown does include Korean sales too I think, probably a pretty decent percentage of Korean sales happen through that website too.

Then there's groups like Momoland who are still struggling with physicals, and Oh My Girl is kinda at the same place they've always been. Let's see if their next comeback sees higher numbers.

it may have K sale s but its far cheaper to buy the cds in a store especially if you live is Seoul.
I buy the majority of mine when i am there in myeongdong. i bought a bunch for 11-17k won about 10-15$

Some stores are a bit more and ofc folks are addicted to delivers if tehy have free in korea shipping maybe that would explain it.
Much of Korea is 2 hour deliver for many online orders now.

Album sales usually go by momentum and if you have momentum behind you then you will grow but if you don't then you'll stagnate or even decline so Cosmic Girls for example got a second wind from the boost they had after Rocket Girls and caused people to pay attention to them while Oh My Girl had a boost with Secret Garden doing well digitally and as they hadn't done anything until Queendom they haven't had momentum behind them to follow up.
