and look at how close the gaon number is to the hanto number.
Overall, the physical market has been revived again. Groups like WJSN and Fromis_9 are getting pretty good sales, more than older and more famous groups like AOA used to get. Mamamoo used to always sell around the 40-50K range but their latest album surpassed 100K. Even Taeyeon and IU broke some sales records this time round.Wow interesting to know, does this include sales from south korea, thanks for the share, izone going strong with 200k sales, is this the first time blackpink is nearing 200k mark, is it just me or is every girl group is rising up in sales from their physicals.
it may have K sale s but its far cheaper to buy the cds in a store especially if you live is Seoul.Wow interesting to know, does this include sales from south korea, thanks for the share, izone going strong with 200k sales, is this the first time blackpink is nearing 200k mark, is it just me or is every girl group is rising up in sales from their physicals.
Album sales usually go by momentum and if you have momentum behind you then you will grow but if you don't then you'll stagnate or even decline so Cosmic Girls for example got a second wind from the boost they had after Rocket Girls and caused people to pay attention to them while Oh My Girl had a boost with Secret Garden doing well digitally and as they hadn't done anything until Queendom they haven't had momentum behind them to follow up.Overall, the physical market has been revived again. Ktown does include Korean sales too I think, probably a pretty decent percentage of Korean sales happen through that website too.
Then there's groups like Momoland who are still struggling with physicals, and Oh My Girl is kinda at the same place they've always been. Let's see if their next comeback sees higher numbers.
