All I do is watch cartoons, play video games, and listen to kpop.

My bedroom is covered in superhero, video game, and kung fu posters.

I have three huge boxes full of comic books and and an entire book shelf overflowing with playstation video games.

As I type this I'm wearing my new f(x) shirt and if you didn't know I have a tattoo of the Batman symbol on my right shoulder.

I will be 42 years old in May. What the fuck happened to my brain?

I don't think there's anything immature about having those interests but it probably is just to do with not finding other hobbies whether due to lack of interest or not really trying is only what you know.

If you're happy with what you're doing then that's really all that matters but if you aren't then do something to change it and try to become happier.

I myself am a gamer but I also have picked up working out and learning languages as interests as I have gotten older alongside my interest in kpop.

I am 26 and I pretty much like the same things..... there is nothing immature about that.... Those are hobbies/entertainment.. my dad is 56 he loves marvel and super heros he has a lot of figures collected throughout the years and he watches South Park and family guy.

Probably about 80 games in total. . . I have an ongoing subscription for Disney+ that I only I use. I don't really watch cartoons [well, I did watch Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends on hulu a little while ago... And I do watch Total Drama Island on Netflix... but mostly I dont watch cartoons.] I collect Pokemon and Yugioh Cards mostly for posterity. I, occasionally, read Harry Potter FanFiction. And probably worst of all... and something I am unapologetic about... . . . . I watch, and really like, Sofia The First. I am 26 ish btw.

The thing is: music is for all ages and in theaters, Marvel movies draw young and old audiences.
No one should judge you on your interests nor your age.

there is no limit to the interests of people. age doesn’t matter in that point in my opinion.

I am a 23 year old and have now been into kpop for 10 years. I watch so many shows, I also have had Disney shows like Andi Mack ( it‘s revolutionary for Disney due to the first gay official character there and the plot is so different from the usual type too) that I kept up with.

It‘s all just that : an interest you picked up.

Why not, you only live one life so you might as well enjoy what you enjoy without concerns like this~
I just recently turned 19, and I know I'm still pretty young, but the interests I had when I was a kid and in my early teenage years, I've never once thought age is a factor I have to consider. I think you should be proud and happy with your interests and passions through life ~
What's more important is that you'll be 42 and still be a fun person with good interests

Im pretty sure I grew up I just have the same interests that's all.

NOthing wrong with that, only if you're at that age and you don't have your posters in frames. After all they are your adult art work now rather then just simply posters.

I used to know someone who was in denial about her plush animals. But she made up a lot of stuff and was creepy.

I'm categorically against the idea that there are a certain "interests" that are "adult".

I think a lot of society has sort of created this artificial determination on what's allowed as you age.

There's nothing inherently childish about liking the things you listed.

They have just as much capacity to explore complex and valuable themes, ideas, and nuance as any other medium.

And I don't think one's enjoyment of them speaks to any kind of lack of development.

I say keep the superheroes and kpop and kung fu. Especially the Kung Fu.
