a week or two ago, after finding out my age, a man told me "well what are you waiting for, start having kids" and yesterday or so a random guy came to me at work and said I need to do something about my future work wise and also get married and start having babies loool and he also said "you got skinny now, a few months ago you had really gained weight" wtf is wrong with people??? who goes up to random strangers and says this kind of thing? (I've only spoken to him once before and he asked me to meet outside of work and "discuss my future")

That's so frustrating when things like that happen. I have people around me telling me that I need to get married and start having kids (I'm only 21) I'm not interested in dating right now, I feel like I've just started my journey as an adult and want more to experience before I take on things like dating, marriage and starting a family.

I don't really hear it from strangers, apart from all the news stories of how women don't have babies anymore and country is doomed.. but my mom in other hand mentions it once a while. I'm 95% sure I won't be getting kids. I had no interested when I was kid even, I always said I didn't want kids and everyone said my mind would change. I'm 27 and I still don't want kids. Doubt it will change. I might eventually get married, but it's 50/50 entirely depends if I end up finding someone I really want to marry. But it's not big goal in my life, it's just possibility.

I'm at the age I havn't found that person and I am not going to crap out something I cannot afford for 18 years. Kids don't deserve to be brought into the world for the sake of obligation of having crotchfruit. There is already millions of kids born into poverty because their parents believe birth control is a sin.

There shouldn't be an age to have kids because that only focuses on the aspect of giving birth to one. Doesn't take into account if the person is actually ready for that mentally or financially and you shouldn't have a kid if you're going to struggle with either of those.
