Nowhere close Elfen Lied is just messed up as a whole, no matter the age you watch it (though it'd be infinitely worse as a kid)

Sometimes I think 'ah, this is why i'm going to hell' cuz I started off with Elfen Lied and now nothing in anime has phased me up until that scene in episode 2 of Euphoria

I'm pretty sure mine was Elfen Lied, but it could've been Death Note since my friends were raving about it around the time I discovered Elfen Lied, I watched Elfen Lied after I caught an episode over my sister's shoulder, I probably shouldn't have been watching it at that age but yolo u know? Now that I think about it it could have also probably been Shaman King because it was airing in the UK on Jetix (channel) but I don't really count it because 1. I didn't really know what anime was and that Shaman King was one of them at the time and 2. I didn't watch the entire series until much later, I just watched any episode that I caught airing~

Kid me was messed up seeing Unit 01 going berserk. Not exactly something a kid should be watching

Elfen Lied as first anime though I watched it towards the end of high school and I felt like it was bit too much for me even then. The dog scene and train scene wrecked me. I actually rewatched it recently though and found it lot less traumatising as adult xd Though there was one pretty effed up scene which I had entirely forgotten, it was about backstory of the little girl who had the dog.

I didn't count it as mine because I didn't watch many episodes and didn't really care about it at the time. It's a long running series so you don't have to have watched every episode for it to count but as long as you were a fan at the time and were really invested in the show then i'd say it counts ?

Pokemon would count for me then, I didn't watch it regular at age 6 (now that i think of, I don't think our family had tv, I always watched it on my cousins next door. But when I was 10 maybe (lol nice age to watch Pokemon), I got up early for Pokemon on saturday mornings with my sis and later with my brother as well to watch it :d

Ah yes the dog scene I was the most shocked seeing that scene as a kid but I was an immature kid so what happened shortly after that part cheered me up a bit they deserved it The backstory I was kinda like 'ok' at the time like it didn't disturb me that much cuz I didn't understand fully what it was but now that I do understand that scene i've already watched it enough times to be desensitized to it, which probably isn't a good thing but at least it's only anime huh?

and tbh i didnt stop watching until freshman year of highschool.

Tbh, I still watch Pokemon It's pretty easy to show just have in background while doing chores or browsing. I did have long period I didn't watch it though, like as kid I just watched first two seasons (around 500 eps so not that short ones) so I had lot to catch up. I still hasn't rly catched up I'm like in third newest season (XY). There is too much Pokemon in world

I should get around to actually watching it one day. I've read the manga (though I can't exactly remember where I stopped) but never got around to watching the anime. Might give it a go for the soundtrack alone
