I'm worried. Where does K-Pop source get their funding? And if they're not getting any profit, they'll close too.

The admins didn't make this forum with the intention of making profit. They made it because they wanted a kpop forum like this to exist, so while that is happening and people are enjoying it here it's very unlikely that it will close. Donations from users also help lower the costs.

akp and oh are still fine, they deal with incompetent owners. OH I think recently revived itself and has different people running it. akp I don't know, I think there's only so much mods on that forum can do, they've expressed their complaints with the people higher up than them

kps is run by users who actually use the forums and take ideas from their userbase. also, users donate money to keep up with the server costs. Kps isnt going anywhere anytime soon, especially since the user base is slowly increasing.

Just kidding, admin nim takes care of it and voluntary donations by a LOT of the userbase because they genuinely like the forum.

I donated 15 dollars to kpopsource a month ago. That alone should keep us up and running for another 5 years.

Lets be honest, everybody, including @Rainism and @RainbowDevil done told me to come to kps because of the wackness that has become of akp... But akp and OH are both up.. But if you are worried that kps is going down then I would suggest that you add the people you like on here to your discord, so that if kps goes down you can go there. I do have friends still on akp for which I have their discord and for one their instagram. So if you don't use discord you could see if they have social media that they are on and do that. Or perhaps there is another site that you could join that has a k-pop section, but isn't reliant on k-pop to thrive, such as reddit... Reddit is very unlikely to ever become defunct.

I don't think this forum is going anytime soon. This is the first forum I've been in where all the staff and moderators are real users; and the very owner is a real sweetee. You can tell; when the trolls of other forums are good users here, something here is been done right.
