It might be fun if Bernie ended up winning, he's pretty much polar opposite of Trump.

Though wake me up when the president gets actually chosen. It's exhausting to keep seeing American elections everywhere, it's half US elections half corona in the newspapers here and US is not even in same continent. It's even more tiring when US elections are so dramatic and they last forever.

They all spend to much.
GDP is 20 T budget is 5 T those are unsustainable.
The federal government cannot spend a quarter of the gdp and they want to spend more.
Flat cannot do it.
Currently the interest on the debt is half a trillion dollars a year.
You can see why banks and investors throw money at the political folks. Thats half a trillion free dollars for them per year forever and it will only go up.

there is no hope, its a boom bust cycle has been forever.

People are incapable of controlling them selves.
Buying on margin , 2-3 homes, borrowing crazy multiples of earnings.
What ever the gimmick folks will embrace it.
The vast majority of people live well above their means no matter want those means are.
Until that behavior is punished it will continue. But there is little incentive for control and spending other peoples money is so fun.
