Why do a lot of people say JYP is the best company? (1 Viewer)

I've thought about it for a bit and... how are they better than other companies?

They show favortism, they obv. prefer GGs over BGs and let us not even GET into how they fucked up Miss A!
They overwork their idols, what with Twice having 6 comebacks a year and Chan working through the night regularly!
Sure they gave Mina time off when she needed it.... but fucking TS gave time off to Yongguk when things got bad enough! Nevermind the fact that JYP overworking Twice so much most likely heavily contributed to her developing a problem.
JYP seems to be the Big 3 company that is the harshest with dating, what with that Day6 member and Woojin most likely got kicked out for dating as well.
JYP makes idols change their voices, for example Momo.
JYP will also straight up not give comebacks to some groups/idols for long periods of time. Case in hand Jamie and her "I need to sing" rant.

In WHAT damn way is JYP the best company out there? IN WHAT WAY? Is it bcs of their organic food? Is that all a company needs to be the best?

They're not. The only reason why people say that is because they didn't have huge scandals like YG or SM with their foreign idols. YG and SM are basically hated for every business move they do (like SM's live concerts online). Everyone is under the impression that a company is good until something crazy happens.

didn't they also make momo eat nothing but ice for a week? i've heard something like that and i'm not sure if that's true but if so then it doesn't make the situation any better. i definitely agree with what you said, in fact i never understood people who praised big companies when in fact none of them are "the best", if anything we should talk about being the least worst. we don't know these companies or anyone behind them, what we see might be just a small part of how idols are really treated behind the scenes.

like... JYP is one of only 2 companies I know where fans will actively defend them. When talking with some peeps about how I don't think JYP is THAT good and bring up the arguments I mentioned in OP.... Ppl actively argue against them at times. Ppl actively try to argue JYP is not bad.

I feel like they do have more mental health support than other companies, but only really take care of it really really when there's an actual thing going on like Mina. JYP interacts with the company's idols, too. People say that "wow, the CEO actually takes part in his idol's stuff," but JYP is not JYPE's CEO anymore, and he's not that great either. He belittled some Sixteen members and Jihyo for their weight, I think. They're not the worst company out there, but they're not the best.

You're on point. I think rather than being the best, they're the "lesser evil" when compared to the other Big3 but they do have their fair amount of skeletons in the closet, just like any other company.

MyDoll has the distinct advantage of being very new and poor/nugu enough to be forgiven a lot of things!
They simply don't have many ways to fuck up and are avoiding most of the more... elementary ones!
