I feel bad for ITZY's Yuna (1 Viewer)

So recently I've seen some ppl (not on this site ofc) hating on ITZY's Yuna or talking about her acting jealous of other members of ITZY. Seeming mad at other idols or just generally seeming like she doesn't get along with her group that well...

I looked a bit into what those ppl were claiming and I came out of it feeling sorry for Yuna. Because it DOES look to me like she isn't as close with the other 4 members as the other 4 members are to eachother.

It makes sense. Yuna was added last minute as a replacement to Somi. The other 4 had known, trained and worked together already with the knowledge that they are going to debut together. Yuna didn't have that bond with them, she came in as an outsider. Her being a few years younger also might have contributed to her not being able to get as close to the other members.

And now I can only think about how lonely that must be. Rookie idols usually aren't allowed out on their own, JYP DEFINITELY doesn't allow dating. I imagine she must feel incredibly left out and alone. She has straight up said, sometimes it's like you 4 are a group on your own without me. She is still only 16 and suddenly being so famous without having anybody to rely on, must be... hard.

SO even if she is jealous.
even if she doesn't fit in...

I can't understand how ppl can be mad at her for that.

PS (edit) - I don't think the other members are in any way guilty etc of anything here or that THEY are somehow negative bcs of it.

Also I wanted to add, I'm not a Midzy and I'm not an expert on this situation.
I'm not saying I definitely think something like this is going on in ITZY just the little I've observed from looking into them.

I see your point, but this doesn't exactly change my view on this.
I don't think the other girls dislike Yuna.

I think the other 4 are closer with each other than with her.

Even if unintentionally, cliques have a habit of forming, as the youngest, the new kid and the only one without any sort of prior exposure or experience (correct me if I'm wrong) feeling out of place is a given. Especially considering she brought in primarily to replace someone as big as Somi, maybe she feels like she isn't measuring up despite her popularity. Time will sort it out

For now I hope she can find friends closer to her age like CB May or Fromis Jiheon

Well people who know they are appreciated, feel like they are appreciated and are confident in that knowledge... don't usually react that big to being told they are loved and needed.

ITZY have gotten quite a lot of shit yeah sadly... Hopefully things get better for them.
And as to Yuna being there bcs Somi isn't. I think pre-debut Profile pics for ITZY were leaked at some point AFTER ITZY had already debuted. They had Somi, didn't have Yuna.

Anyways, I kinda felt that Lia was more of the outsider this comeback. Yesung himself said that he doesn't know a single group where every member is close with each other. It's bound to happen. You get put in a group cuz you look great together and fit the concept by a company. Maybe she is an outsider in her group or maybe not, but she probably has friends from other groups.
Don't forget that idols wait in the corridors to perform during promo, where most idols meet their peers.

im actually kinda glad that somi left... she looks very happy under the black label and seems to really enjoy being a soloist. idk i think that if she was gonna be in a group then ioi would have been her only one.

also, Yuna really fits itzys concept, so I guess it was a win-win for both Yuna and somi.

With this video, I feel like there is a change with how they view each other. I'm not quite sure how to put it >.>

But when someone initially joins your friendship group, it's going to be hard to adapt to them at first. They are going to feel left out because all the others are closer with each other. But as time goes on, everyone else becomes used that person being there and they become closer. I feel like Yuna probably isn't as close to them now but that doesn't mean that they're all not trying hard to be closer with each other. It takes time. I feel like this video was a turning point. Like all the other members telling her that they want to be close with her too and it's not her fault if she feels left out. That sort of thing means a lot for a teenager, especially one who is strill growing.

I don't know if I conveyed that well and I'm not a midzy so I might just be reading too much into things but that's how I see it
