My Review
@Darth_Kuro am i supposed to tag you for reviews? ALso I actually worked really hard on my review uwu
The film starts with a threat by Palpatine, who's apparently not dead. Kylo Ren gets a Wayfinder and goes to Exegol. Palpatine, hiding on Exegol, reveals Snoke was made to control the First Order and lure Kylo to the dark side. Palpatine unveils the Final Order, which is a munch of Star Destroyers. Kylo's supposed to kill Rey, who's becoming a Jedi with the help from Leia. Finn and Poe learn Palpatine is on Exegol and Rey has learned from Luke's notes that a Wayfinder can lead them there. Rey, Finn, Poe, Chewbacca, BB-8, and C-3PO go in Millennium Falcon to Pasaana, where a clue to a Wayfinder is.
Kylo makes some kinda bond with with Rey to find her location. He goes to Pasaana with his bros. With the help of Lando, Rey and her friends find the clue. A dagger with writing, which C-3PO's programming doesn't let him read. Rey goes to confront Kylo. The First Order captures the Falcon, Chewbacca, and the dagger. Rey accidentally destroys a First Order transport with Force lightning. Believing Chewbacca to be dead, the group escapes on Ochi's ship.
The group travels to some old lookin' place, where a droidsmith extracts the dagger text from C-3PO's memory, revealing coordinates to a Wayfinder. Rey senses Chewbacca is alive. The group goes on a rescue mission to Kylo's giant ass ship. Rey recovers the dagger and has visions of Ochi killing her parents with it. Kylo informs her that she is Palpatine's granddaughter. The Sith Lord had told Ochi to recover Rey, but her parents hid her on Jakku. General Hux saves Poe, Finn, and Chewbacca from execution, cuz he's the spy. He get the group to escape on the Falcon, but is killed in like 5 minutes. The gang gang goes to some moon.
Rey retrieves the wayfinder but she and Kylo meet. Kylo destroys the wayfinder and fights Rey. Leia calls to Kylo through the Force as she dies, distracting him/ Rey impales him. Rey heals Kylo because of Leia dying. She takes his ship to exile herself on that island where Luke lived. There, Luke's spirit tells Rey to face to not be a coward and go find Palpatine. Rey gets Leia's lightsaber. Rey goes to Exegol in Luke's X-wing fighter.
Meanwhile, Kylo talks with Han Solo and claims his identity as Ben Solo. Knowing Leia died and Kylo's now Ben, Palpatine sends one of his OP Star Destroyers to obliterate the old lookin' place with that droidsmith guy to show off power. The Resistance, led by Poe and Finn, go to fight the First Order. Final Order?
Rey sends her location to R2-D2, allowing the Resistance to follow her to Exegol. There, she yells at Palpatine; he demands that she kill him for his ghost to pass into her. Lando brings reinforcements to join the battle. Ben overpowers Palpatine's soldier guys and fights with Rey, but Palpatine takes their power to revive himself. He attacks the Resistance fleet with lightning and hurts Ben. Rey hears the voices of past Jedi, who lend her their strength. Palpatine fights her with lightning, but Rey deflects it using Luke and Leia's lightsabers, killing Palpatine and herself. Ben uses the Force to revive her at the cost of his own life; Rey kisses Ben. The Resistance defeats Palpatine's armada. The Resistance returns to their base to celebrate.
After the celebration, Rey visits Luke's abandoned childhood home on Tatooine and buries his and Leia's lightsabers. Some random woman asks her name. The spirits of Luke and Leia watch, she replies, "Rey Skywalker."

My Review
Okay.
I think Lucasfilm and Bad Robot could have done much better. The first of the newest ones weren't horrible. It had major goofs, but I hoped the second movie would straighten it out. It didn't So I hoped the third movie would fix it. It didn't.
There are major plot holes, and it feels like something they threw together just to have another movie.
I was expecting something magnificent for Rey's origins, but wtf. The Palpatine wasn't thought out that well. How would Palpatine have a child? In the OG films, Palpatine was quite old, Rey would have been much older than she is portrayed in the films unless Star Wars happens to have some god-like aging cream. It's said that after the fall of Palpatine, Ochi was tasked with finding Rey, and Rey was maybe a preteen then. 7-9, maybe. However, if Palpatine had a child before the prequel movies, then Rey would already be 7-9 during the OG movies because Palpatine was pretty old. Then during the newest films, when she was left of Jakku(?) she would have been a teen, or even late 20s.
I also don't understand why they had to revive Palpatine. I was excited for a bad guy Kylo, it put quite the twist on the second movie in my opinion. Not the best plot twist villain reveal, but it would have been something. But they had to have romance apparently, so Kylo ended up kissing Rey. It honestly feels so forced, and what's with the Force being able to revive people. That's really stupid and OP.
Because the force is able to revive people, as introduced in the last movie, it goes with the Sith way. The Sith try to control it, but honestly, I think in the original movies, death was a huge part. Obi-Wan didn't try to escape death, Yoda knew he was supposed to die, and accepted it. If you give the Force the ability to revive dead people, then that kinda blows away what I think is one of the most important parts of the Star Wars franchise.
Also, can we talk about Leia? The reused scenes seem quite forced. I know they were trying to honor Leia or something, but I think it could have been better if her stuff wasn't that forced.
All in all, I think when the newest series started, it had potential, but it really lost it as the series continued on. The last film was the worst of them all. I liked the CGI and the special effects, but I really hated the story and such. I wasted my money on buying the DVD. I would not watch it again, and I think someone could probably write a fanfiction that was better.
Anyways. That's my review. 1 star.
