Why kpop needs more Co-Ed groups... (2 Viewers)

I think it will be difficult. The reason why KARD hasn't disbanded yet is because of their chemistry with another and only being 4 members.
I can see it getting difficult if there are gonna be more than 6 members for a co-ed group and keeping a nice atmosphere with each other.

And especially for younger co-ed groups it will most likely be really awkward.
KARD has tried it and succeeded and also failed at creating choreos that fit both. While sometimes more sexy and on the lewd side, they also have a bunch of non-sexy and lewd choreo parts.

It's difficult balancing the different heights and bodies each member will have. K-Pop is obsessed with synchronization so it could lead to a lot of backlash if a co-ed group isn't that.

it just feels like a BG is collabing with a GG instead of being one group

i don't follow western artists that much, there as a co-ed kpop group before and they flopped and had scandal. and look at Kard they are going no where. it's just a bad idea from business perspective as well.

not every group has to be super duper known, KARD does enough banks through their concerts and comebacks to keep releasing music. If you can sustain a level or even have it slowly increase with each comeback then u can be in for a long run unless the company suddenly decides to give up on you because you aren't getting popular from 0-100

KARD are the biggest group DSP has had in years and is easily their money maker at this point though so clearly sometimes taking a risk can pay off.
