I'd love to see more. Sunny Hill also started as co-ed, but became girl group.. Maybe more groups should do collab projects instead like Troublemaker instead of full on committing to it? (less risky)

collabs seemed to have pretty much vanished these days, i remember watching a lot of videos of collab units from idols of different groups or just whole groups together on stage, there should definitely be more of them tho, especially groups from different companies but ig it can be pretty risky because of all the fandom wars

This gen kpop is boring. Not co-ed (apart from kard), no collabs and not even dance battles

A definite yes for more co-ed groups in kpop KARD are actually amazing and even if I don't enjoy their music, they manage to be really great with their performances and songs.

It was such fresh air after drought, but then we just have another drought..

Lot of new groups are dance focused. It's such sham there isn't shows to show it in. Other than random dance in Idol Room.

Kingdom and Queendom seemed to focus more on the performance factor which is a nice change ig but yeah, we have that Good Girl thing rn which is Hip-Hop/R&B artists vs mnet, but besides that i can't really say anything that stands out

The thing is gp in Korea seems to be kinda over kpop due to the over saturation... the only ones they really care about are the big main groups like Twice, BTS & Black Pink probably EXO too but they're mostly in the military now which makes launching kpop based variety shows super hard, not even Doni and Coni could do it after leaving Weekly Idol... and like you guys have said, fandom wars kind of ruined cross-company collabs for the most part...

Plus, I think Hyuna and Dawn might've killed the in company co-ed subunits for a while... LOL which is a shame because there's plenty of potential out there for some GREAT ones!

OMG! I finally had a chance to listen to these and they're all so good! This is exactly what I was talking about, it'd be so cool to see groups like these in kpop!
