And what's the reason that it's allowed to claim that spot?
Do you find some flaws in the said anime too and if yes, what are they?

Madoka Magica.

I love mystery animes that make you question things and have plottwist that u dont see coming but make perfect sense. Madoka is exactly that

I think there is always things that could be better, but in Madoka they are so minor im blanking out thinking them

Hmm my favorite is probably Naruto though it's not even horror lol just because it really touched my heart, the characters were all like pieces of my own story and emotions and I could relate to their struggles so much. The flaws in this are ofc countless, so much that I never actually finished reading the manga or watching Shippuuden but the original series was wonderful

I like it, quite some. It's thrilling and brimming with symbolism.
The flaw I can point out is that it might come off as a bit soulless as you don't really get invested in characters from an emotional point of view.

and I do get what you mean. I did see tho that what was supposed to come trough the watcher is how a typical guy who is smart can react when he finds something like a Death Note. It is more about how easily someone who appears nice can make bad decisions. The whole aspect of how Lights mantality was potrait was leading up to him breaking down and loosing it completly and even not being able to outsmart someone anymore because he get's too sure of himself and the god complex is taking over his mind.

And I do think Characters like Misa Misa and Mr. Yagami are there to get us emotionally invested in.

btw. my fave character is honestly L.

Ofcourse, humans and their thirst for power.
I like how there's no firm stance tho, the definition of justice is left up to the viewer's interpretation.

that's why I love it. It makes you think.

If I remember right, it got delayed due to covid, but i guess we just have to be patient. I have heard that things get crazy in second season, though they always were pretty crazy in first season too xd
