When you look at how many different forms of life there have been on Earth since day one and realize intelligent life only happened once it just shows how rare it is.

Then you take into account the age of the universe. Even if intelligent life happened one more time on another planet the odds of it happening around the same time as humans on Earth is off the charts.

Yall need to stop the nonsense. We are alone.

I don't think you understand the sheer size of the universe. Our medium sized galaxy, which is estimated to be one of hundreds of billions, has 100 billion planets. For another planet to have life, which can then mean intelligent life, is statistically not bad.

I'm sure there is life (plant life) on other planets but look how old Earth is and intelligent life only happened one time. And when humans eventually go extinct intelligent life will never happen again on this planet.

It was ok the first time. some folks hate the 'wonder twins' I wanted to kill one of the chars love interest, and he and his editors developed an obsession with at times describing what each character in the room was wearing.
By my 3 and successive rereads i skimmed the parts that i knew would just annoy me :)

mostly it was Path of daggers and winters heart so books 8 and 9 and only parts of them. not awful almost every massive (say 8+) series gets a bit lost some where, book of the fallen has a few that were work to read.
