I am still into everything I was as a youth. God it seems like years ago now...
I don't think that is going to change with me personally.

Just to be clear; when I say "I no longer have an interest for either the music or the fandoms", I'm talking about kpop. I'm still very much interested on Japanese rock music and to a lesser degree also on European metal.

I will stay for even longer. I always had a healthy balance of what I listen to and it has shifted more to gg's and american music for a while but there are still artist I enjoy, soloist from Korea I adore and are hyped for so I will def listen to them for more years ti come.

Hmm, i dunno. I listened/followed as closely as i could my fave alternative/indie women singer/songwriterd from the 80s n 90s for abt 30 yrs or so unyil ard 2015, including new-er/ish acts like Rachael Yamagata n Vienna Teng when i found out/learned abt them. But then in 2018 i re-found SNSD (i dint lose them {since 2009} exactly, but just sorta out of sight out of mind with me, only looked/listened in the intervening yrs when my attention was pulled back to them{otherwise nvr looked 4 them, at all}, srsly-read my blog for the whole sad, boring story, its on my profile page if u wanna go there.)
Slowly since then i been getting into blackpink gfriend, everglow n maybe now itzy(?). Im already older than drewb n most others here; i give myself another 30 yrs (or until jessica announces her retirement from music/or like posh beckham, it becomes super obvious she stopped), b4 i stop/get disenchanted with kpop (or im dead, whichever comes first.) Really curious abt @OnCloudJess thots on this subject; yo peeps-r u out there.
Tl:dr maybe in another 30 yrs ill leave/get tired/bored of kpop. Or ill become a brain in a jar n listen to kpop forever.

I don't know rlly. My relationship changed since I got into Kpop 5yrs ago. At first it was just about learning abt and listening to BB21, then I was intensely following BTS (not really the fandom or sales just their comebacks, discography, youtube videos etc etc), then I started to get involved in the fandom through forums and Youtube and began to become a fan of more groups. Lately I've grown tired of the fandom culture but have been following my faves comebacks as they happen.

Whatever happens I will always follow 2NE1, BTS, (G)I-dle and now Mamamoo as a group or individuals but I think once (G)I-dle disbands or become less activity I will bow out.

Yeah, even if I fall back from idol culture I'll try to still follow artist from Korea in general that I like.

When I run out of groups to stan.

When Soshi and Girl's Day were on their hiatus, I picked up Gfriend.
When I realized that Soshi, T-ara and Girl's Day probably weren't coming back, I picked up BP and Twice.
Gfriend and Twice have two years left
BP has 3 more years of hiatus to get through.

But I can't seem to grip onto these rookies.
Fromis and Cherry Bullet have incompetent management and I don't want a MBK/YGE situation where I'm constantly pissed at a company.
Itzy has good music but I don't really vibe with them
Highschool is great but they're painfully nugu and will probably disband within the next year.

There's always solos like Yerin, Woodz, pH+1 and kinda Somi/Sunmi but I like groups

Not sure. Kpop hasn’t been that interesting for me this year and I’ve been enjoying more western pop and rock. I can’t even get myself to stan other groups groups anymore. No one else has stood out to me.
Maybe I’ll be over kpop when my faves disband, or maybe I’ll just lose interest altogether at some point
