1)Big Hit is not part of the big 3.
-I have seen a lot of people going around saying that Big Hit is apart of the big 3. But That isn't true. Just because Bts got popular and put Big Hit on the map doesn't mean that they are in the big 3. SM, JYP and YG have all had groups in almost every generation that has made big impacts in the industry. Maybe in the next 2 generations all big hit's boy groups/girl groups are making big waves in the industry. Than maybe they will become apart of the big 3.

2)Some songs work well being unfair/unequal in lines.
-I don't think that every song needs to have equal or fair line distribution. Songs like Automatic and One of these nights by Red Velvet don't have equal line distribution. But I think those songs sound good with the lines being as uneven as they are. Sometimes when the lines are equal/fair in songs they don't sound as well as they would if like 2 members were dominating the track. But I do think that SM and many other companies need to get better with making certain idols who they don't usually stand out in songs and use their abilities.

3)Girl crush is getting old.
-I think that many groups can do girl crush well. It's just that it has become overused and most girl groups that had a totally different concept before girl crush have switched over. I believe that girl crush has become overused sice it sells well. But as time goes on people are going to stop wanting to hear it. I feel like girl crush is already becoming overused.

TBH I was never into the sweet and innocent attempts at girl groups. Can you imagine if a guy group tried that. It's not natural to be that "innocnet" plus you don't get a full vocal rage trying to be "cute". yes we need to bring the sexy back.

I agree with point 2.
Point 1: At the very moment, they are at the top, even if only BTS is enough to achieve this. It's a matter of numbers.

3) I don't think that girl crush in itself is getting old, but some ways to produce girl crush are. For example Blackpink's new songs sound mostly like their old ones. They have great success with it, but it sounds the same. Than you got many new and a bit older groups who sing a very similar kina of girl crush, but u got also groups like Idle who distinguish themselves from the mass with their very unique take on girl crush.
Using the same patterns with lots of EDM, etc. will surely get old, girl crush in itself will not.

I absolutely love girl crush. It’s funny that it only really began taking off in 2019 (maybe mid to late 2018) but it’s already considered “old.” I’m mainly excited because I think a lot of 4th Gen groups like Idle, ITZY, and even 3rd Gen like Mamamoo are just beginning to put a unique spin on it after the pattern set by 2NE1 & 4Minute.

Certain romantic and sexy concepts can be interesting especially powerful love ballads but in general as a concept I find it uninspiring & often low hanging fruit. Frankly rarely do groups pull it off effortlessly & subtly.
