It's just that a lot of the initial rumours about SM's new girl group about a year ago, sounded like they were gonna have a very similar concept to LOONA (12 members, 4 units). Now all of a sudden LSM is actually working with the real LOONA and the reports coming from SM have changed to only a 4 member group... It's almost as if LSM is doing his original plan with LOONA and someone else at SM is making a totally different group!

But loona is more a copy of the sm show than sm coping them right? Sm rookies have been in that cartoon for like forever.

see i never got on board because i HATE the 1 girl at a time concept over so much time.... like alot. by the time there were 12 of em for a full group it was 2 years in and i was not going to go back and check it all out. I just watch the full group songs hi hi and some of the dance covers ect.


oj i do not think the get to count as a 2016 group but as a 2018 for rookie stuff though right?

It's really only like a couple of albums worth of songs though... it's not that hard to catch up on.

Interesting comment. I liked the "one girl at a time" concept in theory, but when they actually started doing it, it felt too dragged out. I wanted to get the whole thing done as fast as possible.

LOONA is one of those "I like them but not enough to stan them" groups for me. Eclipse, Number 1 and Sonatine are probably my favorites. (Eclipse is a very Velvet song.)

About RV, I agree they could have better promos but aside from that I think they're doing fine. ... They had the hell of a year in 2019 with three comebacks... I think they deserve to rest for a while.

Since you mentioned it, I had to look it all up: They had 3 Korean comebacks, 1 Japanese EP, and the Redmare tour that took them through Japan and North America. Yes, 2019 was a hell of a year for Red Velvet.

He is one of the best singers in and out of Japan. I love him and L'arc en ciel, they're the best part of my teenage years.
