FORUMS VS SOCIAL MEDIA (2 Viewers)

I barely post on any social media I have. I can go months without checking Facebook and I barely even talk to anyone on there.

As for forums, I enjoy them more because I can interact with others who share the same interests as I do. Can't really talk about kpop and other stuff with my family since they don't understand it

i know right, its horrible
i mean for me anyways , i wish i had friends or family i could fangirl with over kpop
though at least i got my niece who got into kdramas since last year or so

and be proud of yourself you can go with fb for months..... some people are so addicted to check every hour or half hour xD
but hey! i am like you but slightly different; i don't have fb at all
even better in my opinion

Forums, unless it's Facebook. I don't have much of a filter, and I've been known to be insensitive without meaning to. Twitter folk are especially unkind to people like me; they just don't take "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to sound insensitive" as an answer! In fact, one time I tweeted on another girl's tweet a simple "5SOS doesn't deserve all the flak" (paraphrasing, and they really don't), and the girl was like "Can I get a fancam? We've got an insensitive Sossie (fandom name) over here". That hurt so bad I ended up deleting my tweet bc afraid it would escalate further.

Facebook is waaaaaaaaay less toxic. Most of my friends are family, family friends, and irl high school friends, so they always understand where I'm coming from.

But then forums are even better, because not only do people get me, but I get the bonus of common interests.
