This forum feels so fake now.

My threads have seen a tremendous decline in activity cause I post a lot in the evening (after everyone has gotten their card so why should they comment?) and just in general this place is ghost town during the second half of the day.

I miss pre card kpopsource. When people were active cause they wanted to be. Not because they got rewarded.

I think I will be leaving my account at 3k posts. Why would I stay when there's no one to interact with cause they already got paid 6 hours ago?

I don’t stay for the cards but to make friends and to see people post so I can talk to them. I never cared about my lost count either. I’m sad you leaving but I understand. Hope to see you on other forums

I still post later in the day but I'm sorry this change has made you feel this way-I can't deny there has been a change but I think I mainly came back because the cards were added and I thought it was dope.

nooooo it is hard though. it takes some work to do 3 threads and post 20, and like many ppl i want to get that done. But it legit takes an hour or 2 .
Boards have not been chat options for a long long long time and it kinda works at least early one so that is nice.

then by the end of the day i am tireed and may not do much more than check notifications.

Getting qualified at soshified was much harder jeez it was like talking to the wall.

I suggest a change in starting time of/to 08:00am kst instead of 00:00 kst so tat it aligns to a time when more users arent as busy, i feel tat now (users) they're using up valuable time starting from 00:00 kst till they complete daily quest n once done, feel accomplished/tired out so relax their posting, mostly.

If it started at ard 18:00 EST or sth, which is 8am kst-i think users might be more engaged smh for awhile after. (This sucks for europe n asian users but 11pm n 4pm respectively kinda isnt the best anyway unless ur in europe maybe, but still after 4pm to 11pm for european ks users nobody engages much when ur active. I notice only a busy time from 00:00 kst for awhile till maybe 01:30 kst, this isnt a complaint-more of an observation(plea/whine tat i cant think of 3 threads at 11pm my time n compose 20 posts without replies from other users).

I think iv used up my brain for new threads until at least 1st january 2021. LOL (Except when i post news/titbits/mvs/videos iv found randomly which dont need my using brainpower/creative thought)

It frustrates the hell out of me when people don't like comments but will comment on a thread or respond to a comment. Like I don't think it's that hard to click a button real fast.

I'm sorry you feel that way, it's true that many people post just to get their daily cards and then trade, but it has also made more people interact with each other, even outside of threads imo. I still hope people can actually engage with threads instead of leaving a random reply and leaving though.

Personally I've become friends with some new people like @Yili and @yellowcoat and also gotten way more active than the last few months, so some good has come out of it atleast for me

over the cards what i enjoy the most is getting to have fun with other people talking about cards or just learning new things about each other through our threads. it gives me something to have fun with after being stressed out this whole year with everything happening

Yeah I don't think we'd have talked barring the extremely occasional comment here and there in some thread but trading has helped I guess
I initially wasn't planning on participating but found it extremely fun later, I always enjoy when there are more people online and although the forum still has its dead hours, just seeing a bunch of new threads and more posters feels good

Collecting the cards sure is fun! And the fact that people are interacting more now is just better as a whole. Naturally though the forum, like all forums, has hours when it's not active.

Unfortunately @Drew_B has been posting threads in the evening (his time) which happens to be past midnight in the UK and the rest of Europe. So it's quieter in those hours.

Following midnight KST though for a number of hours KS is very active. But as a small forum, we still don't have the numbers and users across multiple timezones to carry that activity over for most of the day. Thus the quiet hours.

I love how much activity KS has now, regardless of the cards, and seeing how many people are interacting with one another.

I´m so sorry you feel that way and in some way, I do agree with you that people are sometimes taking the card game too far. It does feel like everyone is putting all their energy into posting those 20 posts and 3 threads as fast as they can, get a card and leave. Personally, I post a lot even after I´m done with my twenties. I try to be as active as possible and help out with other people´s threads so they can engage in conversation and get their twenties too.
As for the forum being dead afterwards ..... well, I live in the timezone that benefits from KST. When it is 00:00 it is 4pm for me where I live and I usually start posting at 5pm and log off at 10pm (I´m on holidays now, so that´s different) as I have to wake up early the next day. I´d be happy to chat with you as your sarcastic sense of humour and honesty are something I enjoy seeing around, but I feel like we live in different timezones so the chat can´t be as instant as let´s say with Europeans.
Apart from messages, perhaps?

But I also agree with @Ozymandias who I thank for the mention! that it has brought something positive like communication among members that would probably not talk ... or maybe we would but later.

I think if you have found this forum a good place for a long time, please, don´t give up on it just for a small glitch. People will eventually get tired of the game and more and more people are calming down about their ambitions. So I think it is gonna be pretty chill again very fast. It would be an enormous loss to just give up on the whole community, but it is your decision, so if you feel so, I get you. There is always gonna be a place where you will be welcomed.

I don't get bothered if I have low interaction on my threads. Maybe you can post some of these suggestions to the suggestion threads for the staff to think about? like @orangejuice said I actually like how it lets me talk to people more and make friends. Also cards are still a new thing to KPS so i'm sure there is room for improvement in the future.

My problem with cards is that everyone only wants the most popular groups/idols and will not trade for anything else. If I want a card of an idol who's not that popular people will only want to trade with me if I have a popular member card and not the card that would be the "equivalent" popularity of the exact idol on the card I want (if that makes sense). so that's kind of frustrating. I think it would be cool if they added some unique things to certain cards so that more people would be willing to trade the unpopular cards as much as they want to trade the popular idol cards
