Just goes to prove how powerful a written word has become, especially in the K-Pop community. My guess is, he was anonymous so I'm not quite sure why he would give in, but I guess after the years of being harassed it gets to you.

Before getting into kpop I would've never known how toxic and nasty some fandoms can be. It goes all the way to the point of cyberbullying and harassment, no one deserves the crap. Kpop stans seriously need to chill tf out

i fully understand why some people who were disappointed with some things he posted would stop using his account as a source of news (after finding out what he posted about woohyun and jonghyun i also stopped sharing his posts as much as i did previously) but there is a difference between simply blocking someone or something and having them bullied to the point where they completely leave. no one deserves getting death threats over kpop. twitter scares me sometimes.

yeah it happed a year or two ago I believe and it wasn't a bad wreck but people accused Ohmes of making it a bigger thing it was by translating the journalist wording of "traffic accident" and using the picture from the article that was not a picture of the actual wreck (he just posts the pictures used by articles and does not find his own).

Basically, it was not a big deal but people blew it out of proportion and held a grudge.

Someone posted his statement from reddit too and apparently there was threats of doxxing which I understand why he'd just quit with those. People are crazy especially rabid fans would not want them calling your workplace, coming to your house, etc....

I've always known that in every fandom there's pretty toxic people (I mean there's been celebrities killed by their fans) but I always got the impression it was a individual thing. I think the internet has definitely allowed individual bad fans to form groups who go too far.

Yeah I was in oh_mes' replies saying something like I can't believe fans are mad about this and congrats for cyberbullying or something.
